Ingredients

½ cup soaked red lentil (You may any lentil that you like)
5-6 cloves garlic (sliced)
3-4 tomatoes (grated)
2 large-sized onions (chopped)
½ carrot grated (You may add more vegetables of your choice)
1 tbsp olive oil
½ tsp red paprika
½ tsp ground black pepper
½ tsp turmeric powder
Salt to taste
Recipe
Put a large pot on the flame and pour the oil to let it heat on medium flame.
Add chopped garlic and onion and stir it for 3-4 minutes until the onion is translucent.
Add tomato puree, grated carrot, and all the spices including salt, paprika, ground black pepper, and turmeric powder.
Once the mixture leaves the oil, pour lentils with 7-8 cups of water and let it come to a boil.
Cover the pot with a lid and let it cook on a medium flame for 25-30 minutes.
Check if the lentils are cooked and mushy, if not, give it a boil for the next 15 minutes.
Serve hot in a bowl with chopped mint on top.
